Children & Families

Family Photography

The key to capturing your family’s unique bond is to keep things creative, and above all, fun! As a mum of three and now with granchildren in the mix, I know just how wonderfully hectic family life can be. During your shoot, there will always be time for nappy changes, snack breaks, and a little chaos - it’s all part of the story. My priority is to make sure everyone, especially the children, enjoys the experience and feels relaxed.

For teenagers, I know a photoshoot might not sound like the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning, but with a bit of humour and encouragement, I always manage to bring out genuine smiles and expressions full of character.

What matters most to me is capturing real personality — those familiar looks and gestures that make you smile because they’re so them. Too often, school portraits don’t feel like they truly reflect your child. That’s why I prefer photographing people doing what they love- playing the guitar, listening to music, skateboarding, or just being themselves.

For little ones, that might mean “helping” in the kitchen, chatting to their teddies, or building a den in the garden. These moments tell the story of a childhood that passes far too quickly. By using your favourite spaces and surroundings, your images will be entirely personal, unlike anyone else’s, a true reflection of your family in your home.

Family sessions start from £195, which includes a 10x8" print and a private online gallery featuring a curated selection of your best images.
